7th February, 2009 Job cut

Recently I often find news of job cutting in a newspaper.
The rate of job losses in Canada is up to 7.2% now.
This number means seven of one hundred people doesn't have job.
It's terrible.
Big companies, especially car companies like GM has plan to cut huge amount of workers.
Same things are happend in Japan, too.
Can I find the job when I return to Japan?

最近、よく新聞で人員削減のニュースを見る。
カナダの失業率は今では7.2％にまで上がってる。
これは１００人のうち７人が仕事が無いという事。
恐ろしい。
でっかい企業、得にGMのような自動車関連の企業が多くの労働者を削減する方針。
日本でも同じことが起きている。
帰ったときに仕事あるかなー？

I found interesting news on the top of Yahoo Canada.

First one is '10 facts about the sex lives of Canadians.'
There are some surprising information of Canadian women!
We can never see a news like that in Yahoo Japan.
Things of sex is opened in Canada.
I often find topic like that.

Second one is ' idea of blood type in Japan'.
In this article, Japanese think blood type is very important when they know each other.

さらに血液型は就職活動にも影響する。
本当か？
そんな話聞いたこと無いぞ。
何人かの読者は’こんなくだらないトピックをヤフーのトップページに載せるな！’とコメント。
そう思います。

1th February, 2009 Dine Out has finished

The restaurant event in Vancouver 'Dine Out' has finished today finally.
It had been super busy during this event, especially in weekend.
Sometimes I finished working at 1:00 am.
I hope I can get better tips.
I wonder it will be slow to work again in February.

バンクーバーのレストランイベント、’Dine Out’がやっと終わった。
イベント期間は異常に忙しかった、特に週末。
時には夜の１時までかかることも。
いつもよりチップが多い事を願う。
２月はまた暇になるのかなあ。

27th January, 2009 Result of TOEIC

Today I could know the result of TOEIC at last.

I looked at my score from back with fear and it was five, nine...

At that time I guessed my score was 595 point, but actually It was 695.

I could have reached at 700 points if I had gotten just one answer...

It was better than I had expected.

When I was an university student, my score was 515 points.

Compared with it, I could gain 180 points.

But it is complicated for me that my score is better than the one I took when I was an university student.

Then my roommate's score is 865 points, so I don't think my score is good.

My next goal is to get over 800 points.

今日、ついにTOEICの結果がきた。

おそるおそる後ろから見てくと、５、９...

そん時は５９５点かと思ったが、実際には６９５点だった。

後一問で７００点。。。

思っていたよりも良かった。

学生のときの点数は５１５点。

それに比べると１８０点あがった。

けど学生のときよりも点数が良いのは何か複雑。

それにルームメイトの点数は８６５点なので自分のこの点数がいいと思えない。

次の目標は８００点越えだな。

19th January, 2009 having big problem

I have a big trouble now.
My home mate named Diane, who lent me her personal computer will move out next week.
Then she asked me to return her personal computer.

If I lost this personal computer, I must go to a library or an Internet cafe.
It is really troublesome for me.

By this computer, I can update my blog and an account book, watch DVD and search a lot of information on-line.

What should I do...?

でっかい問題が発生。
パソコンを貸してくれているホームメイトのダイアンが来週、引っ越すとの事。
なんでパソコンを返してくれといわれてしまった。

このパソコンを失ったら図書館かネットカフェに行かなきゃいけない。
まじめんどい。

このパソコンのおかげでブログや家計簿を更新できたり、DVD見たりネットでいろんな情報収集が出来ている。

どうしよ。。。

It was fine today after a long time.

Recently I haven't seen the sun long time.

Off course it is so cold in spite of sunny day.

今日は久しぶりに快晴。

ここ最近はずっと太陽を拝んでなかった。

もちろん。快晴でも寒いっす。

13th January, 2009 Tip was...

Recently working has been slow.

I have nothing to do, so I always clean somewhere in the restaurant.

In this season it is said that all restaurant isn't busy in Vancouver.

What is worse, a bad economy situation influences.

Today I could have a tip, but it was just 50 dollars!

I could have 70dollars at least by now...

Tomorrow ''Dine out', which is a event of restaurants in Vancouver is starting.

It is that they can have special dinner course cheaply.

I expect it will be busy.
