24th December, 2008 Christmas Eve

It is Christmas Eve today.

But I was working from 5:00pm - 10:00pm.

After working, I could drink liquor in my workplace with co-workers whatever I want!

The company I work for is generous.

I have drunk two glass of white wine and some whisky containing 40% alcohol.

I don't remember taste of those.

I got drunk completely and went to the home of co-workers from Philippine to stay over.

Then I threw up all what I had eaten several times in the bathroom.

And I lay down on the bed soon.

I really felt sorry.

When I woke up next morning, I became fine.

I really appreciate their kindness.

23th December, 2008 Japanese homemate

My home mate, a Japanese girl decided to leave our apartment in this month.

She has several reason of that.

At first, there are too much girls in this apartment.

Actually there are three Korean girls and her.

Then they share one bathroom.

She said Korean girls never clean the bathroom and have to wait her turn to use it for long time.

Secondly, she said she couldn't believe our owner.

(The owner is my roommate, Lowell.)

She thinks he is an reliable person for her.

She has more reasons, but the rest is omitted.

Now I have no dissatisfaction about our apartment.

Off course I can't say I am satisfied.

It is certainly difficult to live with people from other countries because of different culture and others.

And we can communicate by only English.

She has lived in this apartment for just two months.

I guess it is a little bit early...

22th December, 2008 Snow, Snow, Snow

Recently it has been snowing everyday, moreover the temperature is always under the freezing point.
My friend said 'It is strange weather this year.
Last year I had just one snowing day.'
I walk to my work place for forty-minutes every time even it is raining or snowing.

I want to see the sun early.

15th December, 2008 Recent condition

Recently I haven't updated my blog.
Because I had a cold and thought about moving out.

When I spent time in the room without my roommate, I could enjoy my own private room.
That's why I wanted to live in my own room.

But I changed my mind because it's expensive to have my private room, and I become lazy if I have it.
Now that I have recoverd and dicided to continue my life in this room.
I will update my blog again little by little.

13th December, 2008 Snow

Finally it came.
It is the snow.

Recently it became so cold.
After finishing work, I noticed it snowed hard.
One of co-worker from Philippine said 'This is the first time for me to see snow!'

It is the first time for me to see snow in Canada.
By the way The temperature of that day dropped to minus three degrees below.
A wind was strong and cold.

8th December, 2008 He came back

Today my roommate, Mr. Lowell finally have come back.

I imagined happy meeting like 'Welcome home! I'm really glad to see you again!'
But his first words were 'You made our room dirty! You should always keep it clean!'
I was like 'I, I'm sorry...'
Actually it was my fault.

Then we cleaned whole house.
It was a sad day.

8th December, 2008 Driver license

Finally I got it, my driver license in British Columbia in Canada!
By it I can drive a car in just British Columbia.
By the way It cost about 50CAD.

Next time I will try rent a car and drive.
But I must be careful of traffic rule.
In BC, cars go in right side and can turn right despite of the traffic right is red.
Umm, I'm anxious.

5th December, 2008 Comic

Japanese comics seems popular in Vancouver.
We can read and borrow them at library.

This is the famous Japanese comic 'Vakabond'.
Then we can see 'HUNTER × HUNTER', 'Evangelion', 'Dragon Ball' and others.
Off cource all line is in English.
Unexpectedly it is difficult to understand because there are lot of slang and abbreviations.

4th December, 2008 Movie 'THE MIST'

I have watched some movies on Internet since I came to Vancouver.
I introduce some of them.
THE MIST was written by Steven King, who is the author of 'Stand by me', 'Green Mile' and others.
Summary of the story is like this.
Suddenly deep mist appear in the city and something in that mist attack people.
They try to avoid it and...
What is there in mist?
At first, I thought I didn't like it.
But at last I changed my mind and liked it.
I recommend this movie to people like SF or a mystery story.
Probably adults don't like this kind of movie.
To tell the truth, it was interesting to watch only the last part.
After watching it, I think you can enjoy to talk a lot about this movie with your friends.
Check this movie, please.

1th December, 2008 Weight

I weighed myself after a long time.
Pipipi....chi-n.
The result was 62.7kg.
I have lost some of my weight since I had come here.
I felt relieved because I thought I would be fat.

30th November, 2008 fog

It was warm today.
For it, thick fog set in.
I couldn't see anything in the distance.

29th November, 2008 sunset

I took a picture before working.
See you tomorrow after today's sunset.(?)

28th November, 2008 Christmas season

Christmas will come soon.
I can see beautiful illumination by neon somewhere in the town.
It is important season for retailers like a department store.
I feel I want to eat some piece of cake.
