Upgrading after a long time.

I enjoyed eating the white fish as Sashimi on the frozen lake.

I don't know the fish name exactly.

Although it smelled a little bit bad, delicious.

I could enjoy a lot of sightseeing in Hayriver.

Although there was big lake in front of the B&B I stayed, the whole area of it was freeze during winter.

The picture above is that I took on the lake.

It was a superb view.

I felt there were a lot of place I had not experienced yer in the world.

ヘイリバーではたくさんの景色が堪能できました。

滞在してた宿の前にはでっかい湖があるが、冬の間は全体が凍ってます。

上の写真は湖の上から撮ったもの。

絶景でした。

世界にはまだ体験したことの無い場所がたくさんあるんだなーと実感。

25th February,2009 dog sled

I experienced the dog sled for the first time in my life.

There were a lot of dogs barking.

They looked feeling cold.

Anyway I rode on a sled and dogs started running.

It was faster than I had expected and felt so cold.

Dogs kept running for about 15 minutes.

I appreciated the dogs.

人生で初めて犬ぞりを体験。

ぎゃんぎゃん吠えてる犬がたくさんいました。

ただ犬でもさすがに寒そう。

とにかく、そりに乗って犬達が走り始める。

思ったよりも早くて寒い！

１５分ほど犬達はもくもくと走り続ける。

ありがとう犬達。

25th Feburuary Long distance journey

I'm upgrading after a long time.

I went to watch the Northern lights in the city 'Hay River' end of February.

It took for about 33hours in just one away by a bus and the distance was over 2000km.

I was so tired...

But I could watch the Northern light during whole my stay and enjoyed some activities.

The city was totally different world.

Anyway it was so cold.

Everyday the temperature was minus 20 degrees in spite of good weather.

久しぶりの更新。

２月の終わりにヘイリバーという街にオーロラを見に行ってきた。

バスで片道約３３時間、距離は２０００キロオーバー。

疲れた。。。

が、滞在期間中ずっとオーロラを見ることができたうえいくつかアクティビティをエンジョイ。

そこは完全に異世界。

ただ寒かった。

毎日、天気が良いにもかかわらずマイナス２０度でした。

17th February, 2009 murder cases

These days I often see news of murder cases in a newspaper.
In the next city to Vancouver, there are some gang group.
They seem to fight each other and some of them were killed.
It's scared.

この頃、しょっちゅう殺人事件のニュースを新聞で見る。
バンクーバーの隣町にギャンググループがいて、抗争をしてて何人かが殺されている。
こわっ。

15th February, 2009 Cooking

Recently I've not cooked at home.
Usually I eat an instant noodle or supermarket's cooked dish at dinner when I don't work.
It is troublesome for me to cook now.
Due to it, my weight is around 60kg.
I have lost 5kg since I had come here.

最近、家で料理してない。
バイトが無い時は大抵、夕食にインスタントラーメンかスーパーの惣菜を食べてる。
今となっては料理するのがめんどい。
そのせいか、体重は約６０キロに。
こっちきてから５キロ痩せました。

7th February, 2009 Job cut

Recently I often find news of job cutting in a newspaper.
The rate of job losses in Canada is up to 7.2% now.
This number means seven of one hundred people doesn't have job.
It's terrible.
Big companies, especially car companies like GM has plan to cut huge amount of workers.
Same things are happend in Japan, too.
Can I find the job when I return to Japan?

最近、よく新聞で人員削減のニュースを見る。
カナダの失業率は今では7.2％にまで上がってる。
これは１００人のうち７人が仕事が無いという事。
恐ろしい。
でっかい企業、得にGMのような自動車関連の企業が多くの労働者を削減する方針。
日本でも同じことが起きている。
帰ったときに仕事あるかなー？

I found interesting news on the top of Yahoo Canada.

First one is '10 facts about the sex lives of Canadians.'
There are some surprising information of Canadian women!
We can never see a news like that in Yahoo Japan.
Things of sex is opened in Canada.
I often find topic like that.

1th February, 2009 Dine Out has finished

The restaurant event in Vancouver 'Dine Out' has finished today finally.
It had been super busy during this event, especially in weekend.
Sometimes I finished working at 1:00 am.
I hope I can get better tips.
I wonder it will be slow to work again in February.

バンクーバーのレストランイベント、’Dine Out’がやっと終わった。
イベント期間は異常に忙しかった、特に週末。
時には夜の１時までかかることも。
いつもよりチップが多い事を願う。
２月はまた暇になるのかなあ。

27th January, 2009 Result of TOEIC

Today I could know the result of TOEIC at last.

I looked at my score from back with fear and it was five, nine...

At that time I guessed my score was 595 point, but actually It was 695.

I could have reached at 700 points if I had gotten just one answer...

It was better than I had expected.

When I was an university student, my score was 515 points.

Compared with it, I could gain 180 points.

But it is complicated for me that my score is better than the one I took when I was an university student.

Then my roommate's score is 865 points, so I don't think my score is good.

My next goal is to get over 800 points.

今日、ついにTOEICの結果がきた。

おそるおそる後ろから見てくと、５、９...

そん時は５９５点かと思ったが、実際には６９５点だった。

後一問で７００点。。。

思っていたよりも良かった。

学生のときの点数は５１５点。

それに比べると１８０点あがった。

けど学生のときよりも点数が良いのは何か複雑。

それにルームメイトの点数は８６５点なので自分のこの点数がいいと思えない。

次の目標は８００点越えだな。

19th January, 2009 having big problem

I have a big trouble now.
My home mate named Diane, who lent me her personal computer will move out next week.
Then she asked me to return her personal computer.

If I lost this personal computer, I must go to a library or an Internet cafe.
It is really troublesome for me.

By this computer, I can update my blog and an account book, watch DVD and search a lot of information on-line.

What should I do...?

でっかい問題が発生。
パソコンを貸してくれているホームメイトのダイアンが来週、引っ越すとの事。
なんでパソコンを返してくれといわれてしまった。

このパソコンを失ったら図書館かネットカフェに行かなきゃいけない。
まじめんどい。

このパソコンのおかげでブログや家計簿を更新できたり、DVD見たりネットでいろんな情報収集が出来ている。

どうしよ。。。

It was fine today after a long time.

Recently I haven't seen the sun long time.

Off course it is so cold in spite of sunny day.

今日は久しぶりに快晴。

ここ最近はずっと太陽を拝んでなかった。

もちろん。快晴でも寒いっす。

13th January, 2009 Tip was...

Recently working has been slow.

I have nothing to do, so I always clean somewhere in the restaurant.

In this season it is said that all restaurant isn't busy in Vancouver.

What is worse, a bad economy situation influences.

Today I could have a tip, but it was just 50 dollars!

I could have 70dollars at least by now...

Tomorrow ''Dine out', which is a event of restaurants in Vancouver is starting.

It is that they can have special dinner course cheaply.

I expect it will be busy.

最近仕事が暇。

やることが無いんでいつもどっか掃除してる。

この時期はバンクーバーのレストランはどこも暇らしい。

さらに悪いことに、不景気も影響を及ぼしている。

今日チップがもらえたがたったの５０ドル。

今までは最低でも70ドルはもらえてたのに。。。

明日から’ダインアウト’っていうイベントがバンクーバー中のレストランで始まる。

特別な安いディナーコースが食べれるとの事。

忙しくなることに期待。

11th January, 2009 Justice for all

At last I did it.
I have decided not to watch Japanese TV shows, but I broke my decision.
I happened to find this drama 'Justice for all' which story is about lawyer when I was searching for western movies.
By the way Yuji Oda played in it.
If I remember rightly, it was when I was a junior high or high school student to watched and liked it.
I remembered most story and absolutely wanted to watch it because of feeling nostalgia.

But it wasn't so interesting as I expected.
There were a lot of unbelievable contents in it.
I guess I could enjoy it because I was a child at that time.

ついにやってしまった。
日系のテレビは見ないと決めていたが、その決心が崩れてしまった。
洋画を探してたら、たまたま「正義は勝つ」という弁護士の物語のドラマを発見。
ちなみに織田裕二主演。
確か、中学生か高校生の時にそのドラマを見て面白いと思った。
大体の話の内容は覚えていたけど、懐かしさのあまりどうしても見たくて我慢できず。

けど思っていたよりも面白くなかった。
それはありえんやろーっ、と思える内容がたくさん。
あの時はまだ子供だったから楽しめたんだろうな。

10th January, 2009 TOEIC

Today I had a TOEIC examination for the first time in Canada.
It has been five years since I had taken it last time.
At that time my score was just 515 points in spite of I was the university student of foreign studies.

At this time I may be able to have better score than before.
The time of TOEIC is so long time, 2hour as always.
By the way I couldn't solve all questions and filled last seven or eight questions with all answer 'C'.
I was so tired after I finished it.

The result will come after about a month.
I wish my score is over 600 at least.

今日はカナダで初めてTOEICを受けた。
最後にTOEICを受けてから５年。
５年前のスコアはたったの５１５点だった、外大生にもかかわらず。

今回は以前よりましなスコアが取れると思う、多分、あくまで多分。
相変わらずテスト時間は２時間と長かった。
ちなみに全部の問題を解けず、最後の７、８問は全て’C’で埋めた。
疲れました。

結果は大体１ヶ月後に分かる。
最低でも６００点はあることを祈ってます。

3th January, 2008 AGAIN

I have had a cold since New Year's day.
This is second time to have a cold in Canada.
Recently it was snowing again.
That's why I couldn't update my blog these days.
Moreover I'm going to have a test on 10th January and have been studying hard(?).
I'm trying to update frequently it as possible as I can.

新年早々、風邪を引いてしまった。
カナダで風邪を引くのはこれで二回目。
最近また雪ふってたし。
とゆうわけで近頃ブログの更新ができまへんでした。
さらに１月１０日にとあるテストがあるんで激しく（？）勉強してる最中。
出来る限り頻繁に更新するよう頑張ります。

It is New Year's Eve today.
But I was working and it was so busy.
It was better that I could drink two bottles of beer.
I have heard that Christomas is more important than New Year's day in Canada.

今日は大晦日。
けどバイト＆かなり忙しかった。
まあビール二本飲めたから良しとしよう。
カナダではクリスマスの方が新年よりも大事らしい。
