30th October, 2008 Having dinner with Ken

Today I had a dinner with Ken at Church's chicken.

Church's chicken is a fast food shop like KFC.

We used a coupon for having three pieces of fried chicken, fried potatoes and a cup of juice cheaply.

They were not so good because of too much oil with fried chicken.

It was too heavy for me.

I must have been so fat by having only this dinner.

Then we talked about working in Vancouver.

Now Ken doesn't work.

He had worked at StarBucks once, but he have been fired because he couldn't work flexible.

He wants to work at Japanese company but he said it was difficult for him because he can't speak Japanese well.

I have been looking for other job as a salesperson, too. (but slowly..)

It is also difficult because employers need business level communication skill.

That's why I haven't obtained yet actually.

I recognize I already have spent five month in Vancouver.

Time pass early.

今日はケンさんとチャーチズ・チキンにて夕食。

チャーチズチキンはケンタッキーのようなファストフード店。

クーポンを使って3匹のフライドチキン、フライドポテト、ジュースを注文。

油が多くてちょっとうまいとは言えない。

くどすぎる。

これだけでかなり太ったに違いない。

それからバンクバーでの仕事について会話。

今ケンさんは働いていない。

以前はスタバで働いていたが、フレキシブルに働けないため解雇された。

日系企業で働きたいとの事だが、日本語が上手くしゃべれないため難しい。

僕も営業職の仕事を探し中。(ゆっくり・・)

ビジネスレベルの英語力が必要なためやっぱり難しい。

そのため未だに見つかっていない。

気づいたらもう５ヶ月が経過。

時間がたつのは早い。
